Marshall Lions hold Eye Screening 

On February 17th, the Marshall Lions

Club Sight Committee performed eye

screening at both the Marshall ELC

and  the Waterloo Schools. The

Club’s Sight Committee includes

members Gregg Langer as Chair,

Conrad Dreyer (pictured right), Sheryl Moreland, Dave Easley, Layne Herried, & Denny Kloepping.

The equipment used is designed to catch eye issues at an early age so an individual can be

referred to an Eye Care Specialist. Our hope is to ensure that every child has a fair chance

to learn valuable academics being taught that could be hindered by sight issues. Today we

screened 96 children combined from both School Districts with 11 referrals.
